Desktop Services: Available for current and forensic applications, desktop services utilize a certified real estate appraiser to provide a critical review of a residential appraisal including an opinion as to its credibility from a reporting and final value perspective. No physical inspection is involved.
Field Review Services: Available for current and forensic applications, field services utilize a certified real estate appraiser to provide a critical review of a residential appraisal including an opinion as to its credibility from a reporting and final value perspective. Reviews are based on data from public and private sources and supported by an exterior inspection of the subject property and comparable sales by that appraiser. In this application zip code level competency is requisite.

Is Interthinx an AMC?

. Interthinx is the nationís premier provider of fraud detection and risk mitigation solutions. As we have grown, our clients have asked us to expand our current offerings in the residential review space. Thus, we are moving from a 100% staff model to a staff / contractor model.
What assignments can I receive from Interthinx?
In joining our panel of experts you will have the opportunity to receive desktop (NARAMU format) and field (generally Fannie 2000) review assignments. A scope of work will be provided with each review along with an agreement of service.
Will I receive appraisal requests as well?
No. Interthinx isn't in the appraisal business, we're in the investigative services business. What we want is for you to provide your expertise in verifying or critiquing the appraisal portion of a loan file or portfolio. We feel that by sticking to what we do best, we can offer you the opportunity to do more of what you do best. Assignments from Interthinx will be sent to you without you needing to take the time to prospect for new business or worry about "hitting a number".
Do I need to post a resume or samples?
No. The first step is to complete an application. We may ask for your resume later, however, we don't feel samples are generally indicative of an appraiser's real assignment prowess. Instead, we will review and monitor your work product utilizing our staff of tenured certified appraisers.
Can I call and chat about this opportunity?
At this time, we are not accepting phone calls from interested appraisers. Once we have received and reviewed your application, we will contact you to ask for a bit more information. That would be a more appropriate time to chat about the opportunity and ask any questions you may have that have not been addressed in our FAQs. Since we are in the recruiting phase of this expansion, we ask that you refrain from calling our main phone number. Please understand that production staff is busy training and aligning your new business opportunities with our clients.
